Hi, I’m Sarah Jennings, Founder of Roux Hoo. My mission is to give you the necessary tools to cook your best. There is no single solution-- a pantry is like a closet, and it should reflect your personal style. Understanding your palate and your shopping, prepping and cooking needs (or tolerance!) will make your life easier and your kitchen life more enjoyable.

Through customized meal planning, pantry overhauls, spice exploration, party prepping, or tapping into the latest culinary trends and gadgets, I will lighten your load so you can enjoy your kitchen. I’ve got over 20 years of experience in New York City and Boston culinary spaces and I stay connected and obsessed with all things food, 24/7.

My journey from marketer to food writer, stylist and educator all started with an undying love of cheese. Click on the Cheese Corner to learn more about pop up and private pairing events. Or, commercial clients, please visit my food styling page for photo and production styling.

Cheese Corner

My journey to Roux Hoo all started with cheese. Host a cheese-themed event with me that is customized to your taste. Cheeses, accompaniments and wine, beer, cider or mocktail pairings with details, stories about each product, plus tips to put your new knowledge to use. Good guided and educational fun!

Roux Hoo Newsletter Fab finds: trends, gadgets, places and hacks, my typical rants and what's for dinner.  I'm too busy to spam your Inbox. Promise.
